Hackley School - Tarrytown, NY

The design intent for this project was to take advantage of the beautiful setting of the Hackley campus. The building is situated in between two parts of the campus and the natural woodland that surrounds it. The school wanted to take advantage of the characteristics of that landscape and maintain the connection to nature through the building. A core goal of the project was to make the students, teachers, and staff feel like they had a connection to outside from wherever they were within the building.
